News opens from the Mormon Church owned NBC affiliate KSL-TV. At the time, it was a CBS affiliate. KSL is not only top rated in SLC but considered one of the great stations in America.

Is it true that Salt Lake City actually has LESS Mormons than most other areas and is in fact a lot more liberal than the rest of Utah?

I ask because I've visited there before and am thinking about retiring there
