@kwong310 -Seems that this is getting more interest as a weapon, and as a performance art lately.. I'm sure there are lots of people who don't realize how dangerous a real dart/hammer can be.
I've read that in traditional shaolin teaching, it takes approx minimum of 2yrs to train with sandbad/practice hammer, before the teachers let the students use real rope dart/hammer.
I'm beginner my self and know enough not to play with the real thing tho I've made some metal headed hammers..
