Ashis Nandy blames OBCs, STs and SCs for corruption

Sociologist and political critic Ashis Nandy today landed himself in controversy by blaming Dalits and other backward castes for corruption in the Indian society. "It is a fact that most of the corrupt come from the OBCs and the Schedule Caste and now increasingly from the Schedule Tribes and as long as this is the case, Indian Republic will survive," he said. Media ne Ashis Nandy ke bayaan ko theek se nahin dikhaya. Wo kehnaa chahte the ki jab tak ki SC/ST/OBC satta ke kareeb nahin aate sab theek rehtaa hai aur jab wo satta ke kareeb aate hain to wo samaaj ke majboot warg aur Hinduon (sawarnon) dwara achaanak sabse jyadaa bhrasht bana diye jaate hai.
