I just stumbled across this video. I am a professional trumpet player , that means that I make my living playing my horn. I am apalled by the idiotic comments below.comparing my band to yours, this player to that player. I grew up in CT btw. this girls is only in 8th grade and her sound , feeling and approach are veryadvanced for that age..I wish I sounded like that in 8th grade! Kudos!

@Baritone45 No... I.am.saying.his.tone.is.crass. It is not subtle in anyway shape or form. I assure you I appreciate subtle music completely... Ala Freddie, Lee, Shorter, Brecker(s), Redman, Potter, Herbie, Chick, Makoto, Burton.... the list is endless... I just recognize Chris Botti is for smoochy 45 year-old women. (something dumb about your name)

@Baritone45 It's also easy to say his music is interesting and give absolutely zero rational for it. He has a lame manufactured sound, and all of his solos are tonal and uninteresting... he sucks.

@KrummyBear Kenny G? That's easy to say based on their relative pop/instrumental popularity. But if you listen to the two and have an ear, you will quickly realize that Kenny G had nothing interesting in his music and Chris Botti does.

@Baritone45 Shows what you know... Chris Botti is the Kenny G of trumpet. Maynard was good when he was young. And Chet was great before he started doing heroine, losing his teeth, and singing.
