Les Shattels were a French band (or "orchestre" as they were called at the time) which hailed from Viviers Sur Rhône, in the 1960's. As far as I know, they only recorded 4 brilliant covers of pop/r&b classics such as this raw version of the Beatles' "Hey Bulldog". Originally issued on JBP Records, the EP was reissued as a single in 2007 by Sausage Records. It also features a killer cover of the Hayes/Porter soul classic "Soul Sister, Brown Sugar).
