Attack of Red Winged Blackbird FUNNY!!!

We've had this wild Red-Winged Blackbird who has been coming here to our house for 3 years now! He loves me... he sits on the railings of the front porch & chirps nice songs for me and goes close to me & I feed him all the time! He doesn't like my husband... he squawks at him...swoops at him & shows his red as soon as he sees my hubby. He has had babies... as he has other years... and he has gotten way more agressive towards my husband! You gotta see this! You'll get a major kick out of him! Too funny!

This is the bird's 5th summer here... he comes back every year. This year he hasn't swooped at all at my husband! ;-) I guess he knows that no one here will hurt him even if he tries to go after us! LOL He has babies Every year... we see him feeding & caring for the baby. It's quite sweet. He sure doesn't look sweet in our video from a couple summers ago! :-)

Too funny! Just watched the video you said. They are sure characters. This one has been coming for 3 summers now & loves me but just HATES my hubby! I guess he knows he's safe with me. They are very protective. :-)

I live in a city, and these birds are a nuisance. That they swoop freaks me out...but that they do it near a highway overpass is just flat out dangerous.

This was a good video. It reminded me of the mockingbird that used to fly around and sing while I was doing yardwork near my house in Arkansas. I used to wonder if it was upset that I was trimming the shrubbery.
