This is fractionated erbium laser...The settings are set to the same mode as Fraxel laser. Without pain meds, I found the fractionated laser a bit painful. I could only handle 2 fractionated laser passes for my resurfacing treatment. This laser fractionated mode tightens the skin and helps acne scarring as well as pigment problems. It even out the skin tone. Hans Moore's procedure of 2 passes of laser over his cheeks

  • I'm 22 years old and i'm going in for Fraxel treatment at the end of November. Watching your video has almost turned me off though. Why does my doctor and some other websites say there is little to no pain? Why? lol. I don't like being confused. Help!

  • @ashdog236 I understand your concern. Their are different levels for heat used during Fraxel. Fraxel machines have changed in the in the last few yrs. In the video it was 3 yrs back. They have improved with new hand wands and lasers. In this video I opt for a double laser zap, the first zap was for resurfacing and the 2nd zap went deeper into the dermis...I found the double zap or double pulse to be painful....It depends on the settings and how many passes you have in one treatment.

  • yeah, i got some good results. Prob not worth the price but I like my results. The pain is almost unbearable and Id be afraid to go for some more treatments.

  • @nickster3k If you have another treatment. see if you can get some kind of pain med subscribed to you. You will need to pain meds 45 minutes before the laser. this helps a whole lot. You need more than tylenol

  • i am 40 years ols and i work on swimming pool and get alot of sun and ive have gotten wrinkles prety much all over my face i look about 45 or 50 yeras old how would this help me and i smoke cigerettes also and have wrinkles around my mouth to would this completly get rid of all of that and how much does it cost

  • @whatsmyname252 this would definitely help at your age. also, chemical peels could be really good. but the brutal truth is you have to wear your sunscreen and a good moisturizer at night, stick to a good routine, and get on track to good health (i.e. trying to quit smoking). itll do MIRACLES for your skin.

    hope this helped !

  • Fraxel treatments are tolerable, there is only some discomfort depending on each clients sensitivity. If you haven't undergone Fraxel laser treatment to get rid of ugly acne scars, fine lines/ wrinkles, you have missed the most sophisticated and advanced skin surface repair system ever. Fraxel is FDA approved and is much better than CO2 Lasers or Dermabrasion

  • I would only let a dermatologist do this.

  • It doesn't work and it hurts like HELL!
