In the late 80's I was on a flight from Atlanta to Dallas and as I checked in at the gate there checking in beside me was Lyle Lovett with his guitar in his hand, hat on. No one else seemed to know who he was. I told him I liked his music. He just smiled, "thanks." I think he was by himself riding business class, maybe first class.

I just heard this song for the first time on TNT right after the Mavs/Blazers series just ended...great song...the TNT NBA studio guys were making fun of it and hating on Lyle...that was fucked up EJ Charles and Kenny...
