This is a recording of a song called Disorder (with a Love Will Tear Us Apart cameo) written by Ian Curtis, Peter Hook, Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris.

I play all the instruments and sang in this song.

Before my band broke up it was called Disorder. We had trouble naming the band so we just went through the iTunes library and called out names of songs and Disorder popped up. We thought it sounded good and we name our band out of this song. Later on I decided to do a cover of this great song. Joy Division is a great band and is one of my influence.

Musically I wanted to make the song sound different to the origin. I always thought Joy Division had a hidden beauty to their songs and I wanted to bring that side out with this cover. I also "borrowed" the string section (played on keyboards) from La Vida La Vida (not plagiarism as they are different chords but it does sounds familiar) by Coldplay. I thought that in a cover you rip off the band that you are covering so if you rip off a completely different song when doing that cover then that's being original. I also sang the song an octave higher, add harmonies and a piano section and add Love Will Tear Us Apart towards the end. This cover is influence by bands like Arcade Fire, U2 and Coldplay
