"What A Mann" was the first album I ever bought and I've been searching for this song for years!!! Thank you for uploading!

Very good song and video and of course, song. Ive never heard this before, since I was not much into Mann, but this one blows my mind.

Complete Class ! ; awesome song , great vocal by Mike and so many keyboards : Pianos, Harpsichord AND Mellotron !. I've got an old album with this on called 'What a Mann', from 1968 ; it has the great 'Feeling So Good', the B side of Ha Ha Said The Clown, and 'Funniest Gig', a great piece of Psychadelia

Manfred Mann's best single? mmm personal taste I guess , altho' this and 'Sweet Pea' were followed by the massive Mighty Q at No. 1

Nice addition to the Manfred Mann YouTube collection. Whilst I'm a bigger fan of the Paul Jones era the Mike d'Abo band were a little more experimental and 'So Long Dad' is indicative of the time. Great to see such an underrated song and rare clip...now how about 'Cubist Town' or 'The Vicar's Daughter'?

I agree, very underated catchy pop number. Their best in my opinion and way way better than the B side. Reached top 20 in New Zealand

I agree...it's called 'Funniest Gig' though :-)

Flipside of this single was better - it was called "Greatest Gig" - very psychedelic comparing to other songs they have recorded.
Manfred Mann's best single - and it wasn't even a hit!! How?? They took an exotic Randy Newman song and made it sound like Ray Davies had written it...
