Older speakers are often better then new ones, and allot cheaper, but you may run into this setback if your looking at speakers with a foam surround woofer

@nosek122487 These speakers are getting new woofers and sold off cheap on the local classifieds to get rid of them, I would never even plug in a speaker with such a defect that I planned on keeping around, Realistic is not high-end enough for my ears lol

99.9% of anything today has foam surrounds, but there much better now. Unfortunatly it has the best sound but allows plenty of flexibility.

Just replace surround... Easy to do and cheap. Sound not change too much if you do it right.

I have a Soundtech speaker that our band has used for 13 years all together, and being dropped so many time dislodged the magnet just enough that the voice coil rubs and gives everything an actually cool fuzzy distortion. When it goes I'm getting an EV. I like your videos man, you have an affection to the sounds side of things and that's cool, our band used to be a part time DJ service at one time and it was pretty fun while it lasted. Rock on man.
