@TheRedFoxxx Mr. Bracken? You mean he was the "Gossip Girl" of the bunch in this series, at first? Ya know, heard but not seen.

Any chance of this being released on DVD? One of my favorite tv shows, RIP Dennis Cole.

I was so in love with peter haskell I couldnt see straight,a friend knew my plight and called a friend who somehow got us on the set of 20th cty where I got to see it filmed and meet haskell. He hugged me (I was just a little girl!!) and was so sweet and kind! I also met Leslie nielson and edward g robinson also happened to be there. It was an amazing day!!

This is my favourite T.V. series and Peter Haskell was my first favourite actor. I like the fact that this is a promo for the upcoming series, something I do not remember. I would love it if the series was released on DVD. If you have copies of actual episodes from the first season, would you please post the opening credits. I love the instrumental theme song used during the first season. Thanks for posting.

So true, quick red fox. So true.

I loved every episode in Season 1. And, I liked many of the episodes in Season 2, but the show was never the same after we saw Mr. Bracken.

Which one is your favorite? I love the one where Diana Ewing puts LSD in Laraine Stephens' OJ ! ! ! Then there's Carolyn Jones as Judy Garland. Anne Baxter as Lana Turner. All the ones that highlighted Rachel, like the affair with the black guy (Kim Novak). Oh, the one with Monty Marham as a strangler...well, you get the idea! I loved that show!

There are VHS copies of "bracken's world" available for sale on eBay. I own about 15 or 20 now.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Dennis Cole's obituary in the LA Times a little while ago. His son was killed in a robbery in Venice around 1993. He began to act less and speak out against violence on TV. He eventually became a mortgage broker in Florida. I remember how he was married to Jacklyn Smith for a while.
I loved "Bracken's World." I watched it every Friday night. I still miss it now -- 40 years later.

These women were so beautiful and darn good actresses given the scripts handed to them - I wish we had such beauty and talent on TV now.
