Imagine a kid who is told not to touch a stove. But he touches it anyways. He now knows that the stove is hot, and now no one can tell him that is isn't hot. I have touched the stove of God's forgiveness, and now I know that God is real. That's why I believe.

I dont know if there could be a god. But i know with certainty that the Christian god isnt real. Youre usage of Pascals wager with Christianity is weak and is also done by Muslims too. Its so bad that many apologists advise followers of Christ not to use it because its the "better to be safe than sorry argument." Even if you are a Christian, you should never be using Pascals wager. Its possibly the worst argument for god I can think of.

The existence of God and the question, "which God?", are two entirely different subjects. And earlier you admitted that there might be a God, but that you don't think so. Now that you know that God might exist, I have said that if the Christian God exists, and Atheism is wrong, then you have everything to lose. I am not talking about different gods like Islam, that's another subject. I am talking about the Christian God of the Bible and Atheism. Not Christianity and Islam.

Hmmmm if there were just some way you could access information for questions just like this. Perhaps some day someone will invent something....like a box...that you have on a desk..that is connected to phone lines...which would allow you to search certain terms and gain access to vast amounts of information regarding a subject. Perhaps we could give the device a name....like a computer...and the searching device a cool name like....Google.

Pascal's wager is a very poor theistic argument that was refuted shortly after Pascal presented it. Its such a bad argument that most Christian apologists refrain from using it. Its flawed because it proposes that Christians lose nothing if they're wrong, w/o accounting for other religions. What if youre wrong and another religion like Islam was the right one? Then youre the one that loses everything. Bottom line is that your position is unsupported if you have to rely on fictional threats.

I have no idea what Pascal's Wager is. But remember, you do not know everything, and there could be a God. if I'm wrong, and your right, then I'm just wasting my time. But if I'm right and your wrong, then you have everything to lose in hell for eternity.
