@sarg8 true, the see ya neck is a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and the headstock was shifted to the left a bit really ugly but i guess evh liked it

also eddie had a sunburst strat with a white humbucker in the bridge around 1976 77 he cut out the space for it to fit obviously!

@VanHalenWorshiper Yeah, I just found a picture about the guitar pre-striping. It's all black, has a white pickguard (I guess) and already has the slanted pickup. I might do an updated version of this video.

the picture at 00:56 shows the "shark" fair warning guitar. therefore, that "frankenstrat" you're talking about is NOT his original.

@trunk102 I cannot follow you on this. The bubble is pointing at exactly the Frankenstrat. The Shark is way over to the left. And there is a Charvel Star to the right.

You forgot one. At some point, maybe 1981. He put the "See ya" Neck on it. Just saying.

You mean from the actual See Ya guitar? Could have been quite ugly. haven't found picture though
