Congrats to Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir for winning the Gold Medal for Canada in Figure Skating: Ice Dance. I recorded this on T.V, so the quality sucks and you might need to crank the audio to hear what's going on, but hopefully Rogers SportsNet doesn't mind me recording their show.
Congratulations to American Silver Medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White as well as the Bronze Medalists, from the Russian Federation: Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin.

  • Virtue and moir was so damn elegant on ice

  • Of all the TV coverage I've seen of the Olympics, the most BEAUTIFUL thing was seeing Tessa Virtue standing on the gold medal podium singing Oh Canada!!

Such joy! Such conviction! Such PRIDE!

    From an American.

  • do u have their actual routine's? i can't find them anywhere :(

  • tessa and scott deserved that gold they rock !!!!!

  • i hate the way scott was during the anthem

  • @saharareign in a video t by somebody in the audience from the back and posted here, scott was caressing tessa's back at least twice during the ceremony.

  • Did they have an extended ceremony? If you do search, you will see another version where Virtue & Moir are NOT singing this much??? This is the one I SAW. He looks soooo cute and she soooo pretty when they sing. Made me happy to see. I can feel their joy more on this one.

  • NBC in the US

  • They're holding hands the whole time; bestfriends they may only be, but still very sweet. Congrats team V/M & Canada for a well-deserved gold. It was closer than the final score but I personally prefer their routine a bit more than Davis/White's. The cynics may call it inadvertent home cooking but me being a romantic just call it destiny. The right music, right dancers, right place, right moment, + sublime performance = art on ice & a piece of Olympic history.

    Fr. a non-Canadian/non-USA fan.

  • I love how Scott congratulated Charlie with a big five slap! And Virtue & Moir's free dance was so beautiful, and elegant! And I don't even watch Ice Dancing but I did for once.

Congratulations to ALL the medalists, Canadian, American and Russian. And this is also coming from an American. =o)
