This medley video contains 5 Adult Contemporary (Soft Rock) hits between mid-80's and early 90's. Included here are hits by Toto, Paul Young, Gloria Estefan, Elton John, and Amy Grant.

Frankly, I did not appreciate this type of music too much when I was young then. But as a grown-up, I can now relate to them and understand why they were labeled "adult" contemporary music. The songs are all about memories, lost love, and letting go of regrets. Purely adult materials!

  • that Estefan song is a total riff of every time you go away by Paul young

  • The first few verses of Gloria Estefan's Don't Wanna Lose You have no drum beats, so I use the extra parts of instumental beats of Paul Young's Everytime You Go Away as background and blend them together as an extended transition!

  • @tofevi lol

  • great awsome ironicly going to see the differens of heavy metal

  • There are basically tw possibilities to explain how these songs came into existence.

Possibility #1 These songs were cynically created for the sole purpose of making money. This is actually the possibility I could understand best.

Possibility #2 The people who created these songs made the best songs they could. They left the studio thinking "we really made something special." If this is the case, then these people were very clearly cognitively impaired.
