  • Hi Mlynnc1,

The jibe is not to bad, its the tack you need to be quick at due to board being very short. I am a big board/sail person, and not great at the normal wee boards 100ltr or smaller. I love my pies. Ho Ho.

  • Hi Wallon, Sail is a Tushingham 9.4m, Board Starboard Isonic 133, and I am 14 stone. I can get planning in 12mph wind, and this is maybe my most used sail and get out a lot more with this due to light wind use and can downhaul more when wind picks up. I rig it on a 85% 490 mast and adjustable out haul. It work for me. Cheers

  • Hello! I am new in Scotland (Edinburgh) any ideas about where I can have windsurfing lessons?

  • How difficult is it to jibe that board? You seem to of had no problem.

  • Do you mind me asking - what wind strength were you out in? It looked like nothing? If so, what sail were you using to get going with your iSonic.

Reason I'm asing is cos I'm sick of the light winds recently, and I am looking for the best early planing setup I can get.........
