Healthy wild salmon depend on healthy streams - http:www.americanforests.org. Trees are critical to protecting streams by shading them, stabilizing their banks, and preventing soil erosion and pollution from logging, dams, pollution and poor farming practices. An American Forests director travels to Washington state to see the Nooksak Salmon Enhancement Association's program to plant trees to help salmon prosper.
