Shotgun is a 16H, Sweepstakes nominated Arabian gelding. He is a big, stout horse that could easily carry a heavyweight rider. He has a huge heart girth, strong loin, powerful hindend, 8" cannons, and a resting heart rate of 32. His movement is effortless and powerful. He has been doing endurance for the last few years but hasn't been ridden hard or fast. He has 100% completion rate and is easy to camp/travel with and eats and drinks well. He would make a solid, sound multi-day horse. He is an easy ride for a moderately, experienced rider, he's not a beginner horse. He likes for his rider to take control and guide him. He has good ground manners, doesn't pull back, good with his feet, etc. He is willing to lead or follow. He is good on the trail by himself or in a large pack of horses. He doesn't pull on the bit or hackamore to go faster and can be ridden on light contact without having to keep rating him. His canter is incredible and he will maintain a nice pace without racing forward. He will continue being ridden this coming season and is ready to head to a ride right now. Great price for a good, solid and sound horse. To look up his AERC record, look for Don Skinner's Shogun (not his registered name but in honor of his previous owner Don Skinner)- H42814. $4500; contact Kerry at 719-207-0121 or email at ponyxp@msn.com or www.crrarabians.com
