Capitalism is the most compassionate and effective means to reach at-risk students in failing schools. A fundemental understanding of incentives, markets and free enterprise will harness the talent and innovation of ALL kids in ALL schools: rich/poor, white/black/hispanic, free market capitalism is the engine that will inspire and fuel the talents of these young kids who liberals think are out of reach or not "smart enough".

  • No politician wants children to think for themselves and to be innovative, that's why republicans and democrats don't change the school systems.

  • This makes me want to get the Fox Business channel even more. I'm confused about why we never vote intelligent people into office; it's always gotta be a "Republican" or a "Democrat". I use quotes because the parties that use the names barely resemble what they came from.

  • Remember everybody, the only equality in life that man deserves is equality of opportunity. Don't confuse equality of opportunity with equality of results.

  • @MrStarstruck404 Thinking there is a meaning to life doesn't show a high level of education.

  • @MrStarstruck404 "Isn't it true ... failing school in the first place?"

No, unless you call Bangladesh a success.

"And although teaching someone to make money... did they LEARN?

They learned how to get out of poverty, something a few BILLION PEOPLE on this planet would love to do.

    "...I'm assuming..."

Yeah, you assume a lot. Thinking, reasoning? Not so good. Assuming? Grade A.

  • As, the father of modern day capitalism, Adam Smith said," It's not the apex, the top that makes capitalism work. But, it's base."

  • @NotNamedJohn Refering to FAKENEWS FOX?

  • Isn't it true though that if these kids had been born into a democratic socialist country they wouldn't have been in a failing school in the first place? And although teaching someone to make money is helpful if they are trying to get out of poverty what exactly did they LEARN? If I go up to the guy with 5 hot dog stands and ask him what he feels is the meaning of life I'm assuming he'll say to make more money because that's what he was taught.

  • @ninjashade411 They did have you never seen High School High the teacher even looks like Jon Lovitz
