This is a patient testimonial and case study for a man with chronic hip pain. For two years, his hip had a significant decrease in range of motion. Two years ago, his doctors at Kaiser told him he had bone on bone in his right hip. They prescribed anti-inflammatories and told him to wait and see if the pain goes away. The pain did not, and it actually got worse.
The inflammation eventually subsided, but he was left with about 20% of normal range of motion of his hip.
Watch the video and see not only how I discovered he had a hip problem (he came in for upper back pain), but watch one of the treatment methods I used to improve the range of motion in his hip.
All combined, I used "Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation" (PNF) and mobilization, along with chiropractic hip adjusting and Active Release Technique.
