  • Interesting and very sad at the same time. In Mass and Connecticut all the runs are closed now to try and get this critically important anadromous fish a chance to restock. Continuing to pound this species in Maine by taking them as lobster bait as you show reduces this opportunity. These fish spawn at age 3 and rarely live 5 years. This is the tradgety of the Commons, lobstermen need to understand the damage that they are doing by wasting them for bait. Nice work.
