@Retro80Lady30 Funny you should say that. It's been reported that King found his influence for "Christine" from the myth behind James Deans death and the supposively cursed car Little Bastard.

This reminds me of Stephen Kings movie Christine. I wounder if this is were he got the idea. It could be possible that someone knew he would buy the car, and they cast an evil spell on it, or the materials used to make the car were made from material that was cursed. Anyway his death doesn't seem right to me.

James Dean, Sal Mineo and Natalie Wood all died young and tragic untimely deaths - I find that strange as well.

They had a special on History channel.....they also sold trans & motor to two diff guys, one dude died and the other almost. Theives tried to steal parts got hurt, mechanics got hurt, fell off tow trucks, on & on& on. If only half the stories are true, still pretty spooky. I was travelling in Cali afew years back, pulled into a tiny cafe, had all this JD stuff on wall's, asked the lady whats up with this? She said he died about 2-3 miles down the road... neat hwy..

The truck that crashed near Salinas was a flatbed.
When the driver lost control he hit the only tree around and the car came through the back of the cab,crushing him.
So I heard many years ago before the Internet when I first began studying this.
