Nicely done. The stick accent was a nice touch. I'm pretty sure Gadd dropped his drumstick at the same point in the solo on the original recording as you did. However he didn't think it was funny. I guess that's why you're there and he's over yonder. Someone said "smooth," I concur. Thanks for the lesson.

Oh My God you are fucking awesome, your time is perfect, your technique is smooth and flawless, and the sound of your drums is beautiful. If I could play like that, I would consider myself having really accomplished something in life.

Please, how did you arrive at such a gorgeous drum sound?

@ScorningMensa Thank - you for your time and comment. I have spent most of my life playing and recording drums and music. I just use SM57's , EV's (just normal mic's.) Into a Tascam 20ch desk. Recorded onto a Yamaha AW1600, then uploaded into my PC and use Sonar DAW. I guess it's my ear that gets the clarity. Glad you enjoyed the clip! Cheers, Greg
