That is very impressive, its quite a lot like our robot :L - although it doesn't look it. Ours had a large (max 4 foot) scissor action arm, but we manipulated the table in a similar way. :L

how many motors do you have for the arm? I thought you need one to go up and down and another one to move left/right. Then you need 4 motors. Scratching my head....

quick question, why does it turn a few short times instead of turning one larger turn?

We found that short turns were more accurate on our four wheel skid steer drive and easier on the wheels too.
