Gawd, what bullshit propaganda forced on the police by the SF Nazi...oops I mean Bicycle Co.

San Francisco Police Department says : "Officers must not unduly dissuade cyclists from making an accident report"
That's light years away from what we experience in France when we go to a police station to report a car bullying incident or an aggressive behaviour. They would answer somthing like : "Oooh but look : you've got no witness, no evidence, you are not wounded, we can do nothing about that"

I commute to work on my bike and at least once a day I get someone in a car who wants to turn right, so they gun it and speed around me so they can get to the intersection to make their turn, cutting me off in the process. They do this as opposed to waiting for me to pass through the intersection. They might save themselves 1 or 2 seconds where they're going by pulling this move. The stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

Based on my experience there are many people in cars who would just run over people on bikes if it was legal, and some people in cars actually think there would be nothing wrong with doing that.

I know that non of this works cause drivers dnt give a rats ass about cyclists specially in la , this is why I carry a 9mm in my back bag in case I get hit and they run I'm shooting out your tires bottom line

Wow can't believe they couldn't get Anthony Hopkins to perform in this movie epic. Whats the chance cops being there to see something like this and two them actually doing something about it.

Drivers need to share the road. I'm currently recovering from a hit & run, where I was following all the safety recommendations and laws. My only transportation was my bicycle, and it was destroyed. I was badly injured. Denver PD hasn't done much f/u, even after it was verified that I was doing everything right, and the driver made their hitting of me a felony by taking off. Now I have medical bills, no bicycle, lost wages etc. No transportation, even. They get off scott free. Really sucks.
WOW! You're clueless!
You're in a 3,000 lb vehicle, that's a lot different than someone riding a 20lb bicycle going 10-15mph on the road.
Learn to share the road and show some patience, god forbid it takes a few more seconds for you get to your next red light.

I just recently got a bike and started riding in heavy traffic and ya know, when I'm driving my car, i have more patience now. It's strange but i do. Something about cars just makes you feel like every second counts and like George Carlin said, those slower are idiots and those faster than u r maniacs. People that get mad at cyclists should try it. It might help with your patience problems. If nothing else it'll get rid of those layers of fat you probably have.
