Honestly my brothers phone picks up 3D gaming and does a lot of shit, It's an EVO 3D. What the hell can a punk ass gaming handheld do, overall in experience with them throughout my years they aren't worth it and they get updated every second. Phones vs Gaming Hanheld debate is like saying PC vs Console Gaming. You can do so much more on PC and all together it's worth it though maybe a more expensive option. This year it's a vita, 3ds, next year it's something else. Bunch of crap.

I can't game on touchscreen.

But I got an Xperia Play the other month (and I'm watching this video on it) and I find it very comfortable and the screen is big enough to enjoy watching videos and I think it's capable of gaming on a much higher level than other smartphones.

I don't find that many things wrong with the iPhone and android (and I own both, iPhone 3gs, and I recently got a Droid X). I agree, these are fun for the short bus or metro rides whenever I go out. I agree with mike, I can't really pay attention to a full blown game at times like those. But I'm a hardcore gamer, and at home, or during long travels, I need hardcore games that will keep my attention....WITH PHYSICAL BUTTONS and not meh touchscreens!

I'm satisfied with my 3DS at the moment. And even if I get a phone, I'd also be satisfied with just a normal cell. Besides, not a lot of people would leave Nintendo or Sony for Apple.

I have iPad, iPod touch, PSP, and used to have a ds, and I find the closest thing to real games in the classical sense are shitty rip off crap from game loft. Those games are horrendous with minimum thought, quality, and effort in general put in the game. I admit that I dont play my PSP that much, but thats more because of the game selection, not because I'm busy playing NOVA 2 or anything
