@Garcia117 no they did not none of the US spec had injection like the TR250 had carbs when the TR5 was fuel injected

@hottr6 Do an internet search for "Triumph Surrey Top" ...This was a factory option for a top like the Porsche "Targa" top. The TR4 and TR4A had this option also, but not too many people ordered it; it's pretty rare. Here in the US you can get replica tops made, but they're not cheap. A nice compromise between the quiet of a coupe, and the open-air drive of a convertible, though. Plus you can't break in with a pocket knife, and nick things, like you can with the soft top.

@hottr6 If you mean the rear window. It looks like this TR6 has a Surrey top from a TR4 or 5. They're kind of hard to find and expensive. I always wanted to fit one on my 6, but i never found one i could afford. They look really good on the TR6. And how to fit it. They just bolt straight on.

Nice TR6...I used to have a '71 and have always loved these cars!

How did you fit the backlight?

@Garcia117 :
The PI system was introduced with the TR5 in Europe and also in the TR6 in Europe. Due to strict emission ruling in the US there were only carb. versions delivered to the US with less horsepowers. Not sure if there are today some PIs running in the US. The PI versions (2 different) produced 123 oand 150 horse powers, so significantly more than the US versions with 105 hp. Frank :-)

Hi Tommy, actually it runs a straight 6 cylinder block with a petrol injection giving 123 horsepowers... but sounds like a V8!!
