Araña Pollito: World's Largest Spider???

The narrator claims this is Araña Pollito; the term can refer to any South American tarantula, but if this is indeed "The Chicken Spider" recently discovered in Peru, then this is the spider that may dethrone T.blondi as the largest spider in the world.

this is a goliath bird eating spider found in south africa. Araña Pollito is what south americans call it. the bird eating spiders scientific name is theraphosa blondi a.k.a. t blondi.

(rspnse to KDN322) You won't find Theraphosa blondi in S.Africa. T.blondi is native to S.America (Venezuela, Guyana, etc). Africa has Baboon spiders. The one in this video is definitely not a Baboon spider. The "bird-eating spider" is a general term referring to many S.American tarantulas (Lasiodora, Pamphobeteus, etc), not just T.blondi. Same goes for the term"Araña Pollito", but there's one particularly large species in Peru discovered recently. Last I heard, it was a Pamphobeteus spp.

ewieee! Now I'm paranoid and constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure there are no spiders O.o Ahh they're such kind creatures and all... but I have BAD arachnophobia... it's so weird. I don't even know why. Sorry spiders D:
