Well I wasn't directly involved in this but I am in the Army. So I would Imagine that while MRE's were readily available, the ability to deliver them there was not. The Air and Seaport were both damaged durring the quake. Not only do they need to get food to the airport, they need to get the fuel neccessary to refuel the planes there as well. This was a logistical nightmare. Nothing in our government moves fast or efficient, which is why I am against gvt health care.

Yeah I totally don't see why they couldn't get an inoperational airport up to 100 planes a day in 4 days. I don't see why they couldn't get enough food for one million plus people there in 4 days. I don't see why they couldn't get 12,000 troops there in less than four days... You are dumb.

Obviously you're too lazy to even look at the news. Haitians don't see any aid after four days and those morons are still sitting at the dock or at the airport. Compare the Cubans who have experience in disaster relief and disaster evacuation and had medical teams on the ground in hours. Go home and leave it up to the Cubans, you'll just fark it up like you did Katrina.

we deployed a whole hospital ship, air drops, 2000 marines, coast guard and navy are there and not to mention all the donations by the american citizens and red cross donations....AND we where actually there the next day so WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT

These lucky people who get aid and leave may get their supplies stolen from them by gangs.

Air drops are great for Haiti because no antipersonnel mines in Haiti.

Scattered air drops rather than air drops in specific locations.

UN wants to create riots in Haiti to offer the exhausted Haitians their "solution" for peace.
