When their career is finally over, U2 will not only leave behind one of the biggest footprints in the history of rock, they'll leave behind one of the biggest footprints in the history of music. Their 'competition' isn't just rock legends like The Beatles, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones-- it's people like Mozart, Beethoven, Duke Ellington, and George Gershwin. Anyone who doesn't understand this needs to listen to U2's ENTIRE catalog, which rivals anyone's-- EVER.

@comfortably9numb Wow.... I have seen this video so often for a long time, but i never have noticed that fact. I had put this on my iPod and i love to walk though the cold air outside and looking for a sign.. Just walking. But actually, i don´t believe in god.

i often think of 9/11 when i hear this song, maybe because i listened to it a lot afterwards....then i noticed this video was 10 days prior to the attack...rather stunning
