Jane, this is for you :-) How to crochet a granny square...part 2! WATCH PART 1 FIRST! (sorry the camera battery died so I finished this in another take then when I tried to upload it was told the video limit is now 10 minutes so I then had to split it into 3, doh! So, check out parts 1 & 3, otherwise this just won't make sense!) I hope this will help make crochet a bit easier, if not then let me know and I'll try again! Apologies if I am rambling and repeating myself alot but this is my first attempt at trying to put crochet into a video tutorial!

  • @Sheba392 I used a video tutorial to join the granny squares, it wont let me put the link on here but google 'how to join granny squares with flat braid joining' it the first link from 'wonderhowto'. Very good detailed instruction videos in 4 parts. The large granny square can also certainly be made into a blanket, just keep on going around using the same pattern. The corners are always the same but each round just needs an extra 3dc 'shell' on each side. Hope this helps :-)

  • Thanks so much, Ive made my first granny square thanks to your tutorials!

  • @ktisthebe Wow that's great! I am so pleased my videos have been of use to someone, woooo! I hope you make many more granny squares :-) x
