It's only in the arcade version, which is the one being shown on screen. They tried to stick to arcade games and old-school stuff as much as possible in this particular suite.

Bradinsky: does it really exists in the russian culture as a famous music (like "Kalinka") or its just a videogame song???

tetris for gameboy had a better soundtrack.

It was because it not the common tetris song called Korobeiniki, but rather another Russian song called Bradinsky.

that was insane... but it sounded NOTHING like any of the songs played in Tetris (at least the original)
