Naturally It's impossible to preserv Boom as pure as it was some years ago. Nevertheless it still is a great experience... In fact a life changing experience for the newbies... So you veterans out there have the reponsability to keep going and try to preserv it as cool as possible. I can see that this was such a life-changing experience for nemaa, so please don't ruin it for her. We are all....

in every subculture that's become bigger than, say, a 100 people, there are people complaining about the newbies and telling stories about the old days. hippie, punk, rave, psytrance, tekno, hardcore, drum and bass, even brand new dubstep has its own conservatives that whine about the good old days. if i listen closely, i can hear my granddad telling stories about the good old pre-ww2-era... things change, and so does boom

we get used to these festivals and the community is getting bigger... more mainstream... less familial i think. thats why everybody says the parties were better years ago ;)

This was my first Boom and I really enjoyed it. On behalf of all my friends who were there I can say that this was one of the best experience we've ever had. Everyone who was there says Boom 2000 was better and I can't disagree...

160 Euros at door you cant transfer the ticket initially they didnt want you brining food come on man! Alot of the people who go to boom are newbees Not all but alot. I am not the only person say this if you had a great time good for you but choose to believe what you want . Look at the isratrance forum best of 2009 at best festival BOOM should be number by landslide but is not. Alot people just know that boom is not what it was initally!
