I guess Marty learned a few tips about showmanship and vocal delivery standing next to Lester... he learned it well! I saw this band at Christmas 1974 in Tarboro NC and almost went home and smashed my mandolin :-)

It's fun but I remember coming in from playing all day and mom turning on the tv to the wagon show and watching Lester & his band. But I forgot that was Marty until now. thanks for sharing.
I went to see him last night but he never came out of his bus. It was storming. So our fair was with out a singer. What a drag.

Sad that Paul Warren only lived one more year after this was filmed. He was one of the best fiddlers of bluegrass music.
