the only way you could make an excavator stable is with a hollow frame and heavy fluids ballast tanks. is it worth it when any decent operator would just put a couple of buckets of muck in his path to bridge the gap.if you wanna sell excavators build them for the driver.may be a floor mat in the cab with a grid ontop so the mud that falls off your boots is taken away and not left in the cab to create dust. just simple things .we sit in these machines 10 hours a day

like the tracks but when would you use them... maybe for 5 min when she comes of the low loader new. when she goes to her first job what will she do ... put in a haulroad to haul the spoil and even if she uses them space age tracks can the scanner on the slew ring tell you what type of ground its on??? and how many will turn over in the first year?hard ground on one side soft on the other them tracks will only turn to give you so much support

how many pumps has this thing got and how big is the power unit to run the thing. would it slow down if you wanted to track slew boom jib at the same time and would you get a light come up on the control panel to let you know the pumps could not keep up with the rams and motors and when you stop tracking would the boom and jib jump back into life and double in power with a turbo lag feel giving you unexpected power and movement.i love the concept but we dont live in an ideal world.
