@DukeBoyO1 in a straight line the charger may win but it only has a 440 and the trans a 403 and the trans is alot lighter on a race track the trans would win

Yeah but that Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit was hopped up to the hilt (same as the Charger was) and it was putting out way more than 200 horse way back than. Lighter car plus more like 400 or so horse at the rear wheels. I'd put my money on the Trans Am plus the handling was much better from the factory never mind anything that they my have done to it. The Charger handled like a pig. Still i really do love the Charger, the paint and the song. Just the good 'ol boys, perfect

That would be amazing but I wouldn't wanna watch it probably. They are all too amazing for us to know which would be most likely to win. It'd ruin it for me. Unless it's like the "Duke VS Duke" race. XD

nice...i say the Bandit car wins aginst the General Lee. Chevys, Pontiacs, and Buicks are the true real deal American Muscle.

Sorry but the Charger has the Trans Am beat by near 200 horsepower. I'm pretty sure that's enough to still beat the weight difference.
And the Charger and Challenger are more likely to be used in car movies than the Camero I think. I like em all don't get me wrong, I'm just goin by what I see.
