@normagda Also remember MJ scored 63 pts against the Champion Celtics in the playoffs, where Kobe scored it i na regular season game against one of the worst defensive teams that year (Toronto Raptors). Great players, but still different levels.

Not quite though. You can't really compare a Center and a Guard and choose who is better if they are equally as strong in their offensive/defensive areas.

Um, author of the 69pt Blitz here and yes Kobe scored 81 pts but nobody can compare to MJ in terms of overall brilliance around the court who didn't have a single weakness. I would rather watch MJ than Kobe anytime... sorry kobe
