Commercial Red Snapper landing under IFQ system in Destin Fl. 15 hour trip for NBC earth week 2009 Under the IFQ (individual fishing quota or catch share) a fisherman is given a yearly share of the fish stock to catch at their pace, when weather and market conditions are most favorable. Commercial fisherman can only harvest the amount of fish they have quota for.

@Mr99BOXER their called slickers. and the went to waffle house across the street from tha dock. sometimes whataburger. but mostly their wifes & girl friends would meet them at the dock with some good food. trust me, afte 6 or 8 days of living on sandwiches & peanut buter crackers, you dont want no mcdonalds.

Great music in combination with some nice photograpy. The pictures of the fresh red snapper in their aqua colored plastic bins makes me hungry for some fish - beautiful colors! Even the hard working fishermen in their fish smeared yellow & orange rubber pants were a good color contrast. Bet they go to McDonald's for a hamburger after shoveling fish all day long.
