  • Well... At first a really kinda get stuned, and thinking, WTF is this? ts just horrible! Look what they have done to one of the most beautiful songs in history. But after that, y nearle get the idea of what they're doing with it. I i get to like it... its like a RUSH of thoughts all at ones. Good and bad ones, but at the end, is like a very VERY cool version of this classic song. Diferent, and fresh, but obviusly, twisted in my head...

By the way, i like the intro with Jon's voice! Cool intro!

  • @Agu2art

    Many thanks.

You know I really love the original song. This is a tribute, I tried my best to make it different with the skills I have.

  • Is this kind of early Bowie does Yes?

  • why not ?

  • after all.. that was '77!!! going for the punk heheh, the "gates" wink at the end was the cherry on top. I love what your doing. Any chances of a slayer-ish thrash metal version of "and you and i"? :) just kidding

  • Many thanks for your warm words, Miguel. And your open-minded point of view !

  • Very arty remake. Reminds me of the Sid Vicious cover version of "My Way". Clever inclusion of Gates of Delirium steel solo. This will enrage pompous Yes fans, but if listened to objectively it's a rather ingenious version of two mid/late 70's prog classics done up in punk-o-rama. Not bad at all.

  • @JoFandango You welcome! as I said before, i realy enjoyed this version. CongrNTS!

  • "Why not" what? I don't have a problem with it, it's just that most people were defining it as "punk". I thought this is more early Bowie.

  • I do understand your point of view !

What the band made at those times is a kind now of "Musique sacrée" near perfection in prog style.

    They were so high !

But I think it's a funny idea to listen to some of their track in a complete opposite way with dirty videos, cause I do think that music should also bring surprises, and nowadays it's not that common.

I just tried to bring some humor in my admiration.

  • Well, I have to be honest here. What you are doing is creative, and it's great that you have a great band like "YES" as an influence. I myself just believe the astonishment of the originals should not be disturbed. (I know, call me boring) Otherwise, amazing talent.
