Its true that nobody should vote based on smear campaigns and attack ads. But have you not seen Conservative Party commercials against Ignatieff? These ads in particular have been criticized for being harsh during this election lead up.

So its definitely not just Liberals who use this tactic and think we will vote based on this material.
