I think this was in 1983? If not it was 1984. In Knoxville Tn, the club was called Confetti's. There were so many great places to go back then. Now this town is DEAD! Anyway, the club was having a 6 week long lipsync contest and this was the night of the finals. We were Loverboy for a night. We ended up coming in third place overall. Kenneth "Kenny" King is the bass player stage right. Guy Heaton is the Eddie Van Halen look alike guitarist stage left. Yours truly being Mike Reno. It was quite a blast. Can't believe this video still exists. Other acts that night were Boy George, Michael Jackson ( 2nd Place), ZZ top, The Cars, Lionel Ritchie ( 1rst place ) and others. Yeah, it was the 80's for sure. If commenting, be nice. It was a different time and we were like 19 and 20 years old.
