@thevillageorge Android does not belong on a laptop, iOS definitely does not belong on a Mac. So why is windows tablet software on a desktop?

@ItsOnBTV Yeah, I am sure that MW3 would be sooooo easy to play on iPad sized and shaped devices with iPad style touch interface. Likewise I am looking forward to writing my 200 page thesis on an iPad sized device with a touch keyboard while doing my computer modeling of a 9,000 element structure on an iPad sized device with iPad inputs... I see a divergence happening, we will have our sleek 'pocket PCs' and we will have our 50 inch screen 'super PCs' and they will operate together seamlessly.

to everyone that said that they wouldn't use this because of touch screen and you cant use a mouse you are not paying attention because it said you can still use a mouse and keyboard if you want or if needed just as you can use many devices like a stylist.

@ItsOnBTV Quite frankly I would never want a touch computer. I use it too meticulously to fumble around with one finger or multitouch when I can use a mouse and keyboard. Especially things like graphic design. I think it's ironic that all touch software, including games, is built on regular, usually extremely high-powered desktop computers.

@ItsOnBTV I can tell that you're not a developer. Small devices will never be viable for programmers and make who use the devices for all sort of professional work. PCs will continue to be as essential as always if not more.

p.s about the two comments i sent... THERE WILL BE NO GRAPHICS CARD IF WINDOWS 8 IS RELEASED, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT MICROSOFT? ALL PC CD GAMES WILL END WITHOUT GRAPHICS CARDS!
The future is mobile, touch, easy access. PCs are shrinking, they are becoming devices that fit in our hands and have just as much power. This is the future of Windows...no longer needing a big box by your desk, people use laptops and tablets, they are on the rise, mobile phones are getting better. Microsoft is planning for the future rather than sitting in the past. This will make Windows the same experience across mutliple platforms, touch powered or mouse powerd.

@ItsOnBTV Reality check, that will never happen as computers that get smaller will always suffer from huge flaws. they will have less power than their larger counterpart and if the mobile version tries to compact high performance into its chassis the component has to obey the first law of thermodynamics and thus inhibiting the amount of processing power inside. As for the "touch" fad thats going around it will only work for media consumption, its useless for 3D content creation

@richmeister4eva never happen? What a silly thing to say. You know how many inventions and ideas were told that? Do you think cavemen ever imagined a lightbulb? We didn't even imagine the power of the internet. Did we ever imagine having a smartphones? Did we ever imagine touch screens? Electric cars? Many things were told it would never happen. You are crazy to think that technology isnt going to grow and change by LEAPS and BOUNDS.
