RFID Apartment Security Door Unlocker

A little project for me was to build an RFID door unlocker that allows me to gain access to my apartment room with a simple wave of my wallet. It works very well, and I can still lock and unlock the door from the inside. Its powered off of the wall so it never runs out of batteries.

hm i went outside my bedroom and suddently the door bangd because of the wind flow.. had to kick the door, after 3 atempts the frame crackd =x

nice work, i like the servo or whatever that is on the lock, nice and clean and cool sounding. a lot better than the belt contraption we cooked up, we're still figuring out how to connect to and turn a deadbolt knob, but once we get past that we'll have ours up and running again
