Yeh Boxers are a german breed but you may get 3 different types of the breed.. german boxer/american boxer and english.

I know that because i have boxers my whole life and I adore them :)

don't like to sound like a know it all, I just visit that site a lot, my boxer's bloodline is American and I was curious myself

there actually are subtle differences. German lines tend to have a larger bone structure giving them a larger size than the North American boxer. Their muscle tone is more pronounced and their muzzles tend to be shorter. Their jaw structure is a bit different giving the German boxer a bit more of an under bite. Boxer World is a great site
