My family moved to St. Croix In 1954 when it was undeveloped but wonderful. We left in 1968 just before it became so developed that it was unrecognizable. Oh God, this makes me sad for the St, Croix that I knew and loved. I am sure it is still a beautiful place, but you have no idea what has been lost.
