The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York. The current lineup consists of John Rzeznik (vocals, guitars), Robby Takac (vocals, bass) and Mike Malinin (drums).

@majime28 Saw him back in november 2011, and he actually sang the chorus the original way...my jaw actually dropped, because I know he had vocal problems that forced him to start singing it in the lower octave... anyway he sings it, it is still quite possibly one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard.

John Rzeznik makes my heart just melt singing this song. Robby Takac is awesome on bass and Mike Malinin incredible on drums.

It's interesting to see how an established singer manages his song so his voice doesn't get compromised when performing live. Singing high notes in compatible lower tones or making the crowd to sing the higher notes. Anyway, great live performance
