  • You're not driving FROM Watson to Houston Lake. You're driving ON Watson to Houston Lake FROM Carl Vinson.

  • @MiddleGeorgiaMemphis You're right, it's all in the details... Already changed. Thanks!

  • I moving to Warner Robins next month. Its going to be a lot warmer than Nebraska :D

Some one told me that it gets a bit of rainfall there just like Flordia, im not sure if thats true or not. Thanks for making the video!

  • @swatonbomb43 It is, we have a good bit of rain - most of it in the fall. Other than that it's steaming hot and humid in the summer... There are more Warner Robins videos on my YouTube channel; I usually record them while I'm driving around town. It's a nice town. Let me know if you need some more Warner Robins info. Welcome to Warner Robins!

  • OMG I can't believe how much the place changes and in just a few months I come home once every year or so and every time i do it's like a whole totally different place again , all the peach orchards are gone (other than lanes out 96 of course) all the fields that were in WR are now subdivisions or shopping centers all the way out watson and as far south as lake joy. it's unreal how much everything has changed just since moving away in 90 wow!

  • @daddytech You're right, the city has changed a lot. I posted some other videos (Russell Pkwy, Hwy 96) - Hwy 96 has definitely changed over the last few years.

  • @smackythefrog23

THAT WAS BACK IN THE DAY!

  • @MrChalian i may not have lived there for the last 20 years but it's still home to me.

  • @gualwer i do too and i will be moving back ther just not sure exactly when at this point. I am a network administrator now and that's not exactly an easy job to replace specially with the base closing down so many of the jobs

  • @smackythefrog23 yeah i remember all those things too, actually there was mroe than one put put place back then the one behind the mall and the one on 247 that also had a gocart track that was pretty fun too. that too has long since closed or stopped being taken care of now, much like the northeast part of town. there is a movement there to revive the old parts of warner robins though. they even have a facebook page about it. one of my NHS class mates started it thankfully.

  • @swatonbomb43 it doesn't rain any more there than anywhere else nowhere near as much rain as florida specially in the summer time. it's really dry and hot there most of the summer but it's a great place to live still. hope you enjoy it as much as i did growing up.

  • @MiddleGeorgiaMemphis yeah but that's a lot to put in a title you know? if it's too long no one wants to bother with it. specially when they figure out it's just a driving vlog.

  • @shawntuggle1 you're exactly right about the place, couldn't quite put my finger on what it was about the place but you are totally right. Yeah i really miss the place and i WILL be moving back hopefully before i get too old to make the move myself too. it's a lot different now there though i didn't touch on the fact that they have gangs there now too and the WRPD is 3x the size it was when i was a teen there but the heart of the place is still the same even with all the changes.

  • @daddytech i left WR in 82. When I left, the rama was still open and showing first runs, the Olympia Skate Center or Barrel Of Fun at the mall were the hangouts, and Putt-putt mini golf was still existant. A little has change apparently.

  • As a kid I use to hate this city. But now that I have relocate to Memphis as an adult, I miss this city terribly. I can't believe how homesick I got watching this. You drove pass my high school job at McDonald's on Highway 96 and it brought back so many memories. Warner robins is a city that I will always love and cherish. And I plan on moving back. Everybody there is friendly, you get the real aspect of southern hospitality.
