a little explaining could do, since the vid's name IS "how to drive..." one'd expect someone explaining how the whole system works in detail.
like:
where's what? an introduction
how are gears shifted?
two gear shifters.... two gearboxes?
how many gears in one direction?
transmission description.
because i learned NOTHING i already didn't know from driving a car.
this video could be called "starting to drive a lister rail" for all i see...

if you give those a little stab in third (the motorail ones) you can motor. i'd say 30 tops.

Foot on clutch, engage gear, disengage brakes, slowly take foot off clutch, build up speed, foot on clutch, move up a gear, slowly take foot off clutch, rinse and repeat.
How to stall a simplex: foot on clutch, engage gear, completely forget brake is on, foot off clutch, curse loudly and walk back to shed to fetch crank. :D
