I actually spoke to Brent for a few minutes that night at the merchandise table. I told him I had read a couple of grim articles and had been hearing rumors of a breakup. He said nothing to ease my fears and it was obvious by his expressions that what was being said wasn't too far off. I watched the dynamics between the four that night closely which gave further fuel to those rumors in my eyes. Not once, away from that stage, did I ever see Brent with either Justin or Danny that night.

@StarvingSound, as far as I know they plan to skip songs where Brent was lead vocals. Another Portland musician, Paul Alcott, was filling Brent's spot on this last tour. Like Haege, Alcott is only a touring member of the band. It's my understanding that Menomena won't replace Brent. They will go on as just the two members, Justin and Danny. Brent left the band a few months after this video was shot (Oct. 2010) to pursue his other project, Ramona Falls.

Yeah - I'm aware of all his groups and who he is. I just never seen him and don't know when the guy from Ramona Falls left for good. So - does he sing the guy from Ramona's songs? Or do they just skip those songs? Or the other guys take over? I haven't went through all the videos yet and not even sure if I remember exactly what songs the guy from Ramona sings specifically.

@StarvingSound, thanks for the comment. Yes, the man between Justin (w/ sax) and Brent (w/ keyboard) is the one and only Joe Haege (also from Portland). I highly recommend 31Konts, and also a little of his other bands Tu Fawning and Vic Blanc. But 31Knots is his best. I was so glad to see Menomena with Joe. As for the vocals. It's a pretty rinky dink camera the way it is but on top of that Danny's drums were just kicking my ass. Honestly, I couldn't believe how good the it sounded.

Man - most of these live sessions aside from Juan's Basement don't have good vocals. This isn't the best it could be but the best here and still bad ass. This is the incarnation with the guy from 31Knots isn't it? I don't know what anybody looks like yet...I just caught onto Menomena, Lackthereof, and Ramano Falls relatively recently and by accident.
